Lordul Luminii

June 30, 2007

lordul luminii are in centru panteonul indian, Cerurile si India ( probabil india )

#150

June 23, 2007

Little by little this holiday looks more and more like the real thing i’ve waiting for. I had in mind to finish The Wedding by today and i was reading the book since 6 pm, at 7 my eyes closed for one hour and then all i did it was to pour some more mountain dew in my mug and resume reading, now i’m having a little break, listen to some music and have a little chat.
And it looks like the hotness does not bother even if it’s all most 10 pm, it should have benn more chilly outside but it isn’t, this hotness like engulfing me !
Back to read

In the meantime

June 23, 2007

This hot weather is very annoying, you don’t get to do anything, darn, it’s even too hot to read !
Maybe the ones who saw me at Bookfest know i was really scattering to find Longman, i did, it was at the first floor, but i was rather dissapointed that i did not find the dictionary i wanted to buy, so i spent my money then on other cool books. Recently, some money turned up to me , as reward of my weariness. So i thought with these ones i really have to get that dictionary ( Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English…i had once the chance to turn over its pages and i found it really helpful, contains both new and old english words, therefore, because i had no serious english dictionary at home i had to have one ) and i started to use my friend google until the moment i found Longman’s website. I searched for the dictionary and there it was ! I did the formalities and already begin to seethe. I knew these english dictionaries made by Macmillan or Longman are pretty cool, they have lot of words, nice explanations and examples as well as some orientative ilustrations, i took Longman’s one because someone advised me this is better than Macmillan’s, i said ok. The cool thing about it, it’s that i am to receive 2 cds along with the dictionary, to use it on the computer too.
In 4 days i had the dictionary, it’s pretty cool, and his virtual edition works pretty well.
I continue to feel very woozy because of this unbearable hot weather. I will pretty soon start to redecorate my flat and there will be lots of mess and dirt, but i guess everybody does it, yesterday when i was wandering across my neighbourhood’s street the sound made by all those machines was almost stereo so i guess they’ll be happy to hear another satellite to all this mass surround system.
This is buggering me !
LE : I’m currently reading Spark’s The Wedding ( which you can see in the library thing widget, its cover i mean ) , long story short, it’s about two people that have been married for 30 years now and after all these years, they ( well mostly he ) try to regain the passion, it’s pretty cool, it’s not that cheesy romance or shit,no, of course it has romantic things all over it but they’re said with a rather serious tone, so i guess that’s ok, i hope i’ll finish it today

Gemenii

June 20, 2007

Are rabufniri.

I dream of ( fiction )

June 19, 2007

Hello,
My name is Edward, i’m a 28 year old white male, i live in Bristol and i have lots of dreams. This might be odd…tell me, you wouldn’t begin to describe yourself as i just did, am i right ? Of course i am, i always am. As i before told you, i have lots of dreams, and wonders, unfortunately i also have nightmares, long and dark nightmares i can’t get rid of. My latest dream, the one i dreamed about last night was a bliss, i was on a meadow , but not a ordinary meadow, not the one that lays in your back yard or in the back of your garden, oh no, it was a meadow which had lots of flowers of different types, sizes and origin, there were red flowers, yellow flowers, pale blue flowers, if i remember well i think i saw a green flower, there were lots of flowers, so many i couldn’t identifiy all of them. And i was among them, stealing their smell, druging with it, fulfilling my sense with it, at first sight i thought i was in Heaven, but the next second i ushered that thought from my mind…Heaven wasn’t just that. They say a dream last in real time an averge time of 2 seconds, even if in it you feel like you’ve lived a century, but i had this dream 2 days one after another. When i woke up i had unanswered calls on my mobile phone and also some unread e-mails. I dreamed and slept for two whole days. But i also daydream, my latest dream reffers somehow to tea. I love tea, black tea, green tea, red tea, white tea, i like them all. I think i have a cult of drinking tea and eating crackers that go with. i dreamed the victorian era was once again in bloom, i dreamed of a large tea room, of a big square table, on the table were nicely put cups on saucers, special made for serving tea, they were put on some green handkerchiefs, it occured to me as something odd but i did not wonder about it , i just let it be, it was a brown-crimson table, and we were to have tea on it, the sacred ritual of drinking tea. I dreamed of ladies, mid-forties ladies, well dressed, with corsets that were tied too tight that the womens’ breats were almost to pop off, but they didn’t, they sat there like two basketballs , pleasuring my sight. They were acompanied by gentlemans, dressed with black suits, jobens and every each one of them werer wearing a large black moustache, they were the chivalry in person. They looked very respectful. A servant tiptoed in the room with a big tea pot, and began to pour in the little cups. They looked pleased, a smile was widening across their face. They began to sipp very carefully the wonderful smelling tea, they looked very pleased actually. Then the talking began, they were talking about worthelss things but it seemed quite interesting subject because they talked about it a long time and at every moment every one was trying to convince the others that his point was the best, again , it were worthless things. At some random moment the discussion was interrupted by a raucous laugh. Then a telephone began to ring and my ladies and gentlemean disspeared. I frowned at the phone and picked up my mug and sipped some tea, black tea. I don’t complain i dream much,i like dreams.

Zodiac

June 18, 2007

Like…wow

June 17, 2007

I’ve just finished reading a short story from Smoke & Mirrors , another book made of short stories…it’s called Chivalry and it’s very good, as NG always uses to write nay ? Oh yeah, what i’ve wanted to point out , at one moment in the story he tells that Mrs Whitaker ( the protagonist ) weeps in some Kleenex. Ringed a bell…hmm…Kleenex…i knew this name from somewhere, oh wait ! they’re handkerchiefs….stood up and began to search and there it was, a pack of Kleenex that smelled of apricots…i was so happy, maybe this seem unimportant to you , but for me , these similarities are magnificent ! still wonder from where i got that pack….humm….
