Si a fost BookCrossing 4

July 8, 2007

All in all a fost foarte misto, lumea s-a distrat, a jucat volei, badminton si a facut poze ( le astept :D )

Ramblin’ #2

May 20, 2007

Yesterday was a nice day, rather good, but let’s name it nice.
I think sometimes a month or something ago i was telling you about those meetings that are taken place at Preoteasa, meetings in which a quite large number ( ~100 ) of teens discuss day to day problems and everyone’s putting a hand.
Well, last time i got there i was like very sceptical cause that was my first attend and it’s ok to be a little nervous or anxious when it comes down to your first time in doing something , right ?
But it turned out that the atmosphere was very familiar, warm and the people that were there were so open minded that you can talk with them about everything you want.
Well, yesterday evening was the second meeting ( for me :D ) and i haven’t experienced the same feelings of being nervous like the first time, this time i was very detached. So this time was about friendship and relations, the way you choose a friend, the way you get yourself involved in that relationship, the way you keep that friend , cause that’s one of the hardest thing to do, you know what they say , getting to the top is easy, staying there is a bit more difficult , the same with keeping a friend.
Last time they said they’ll bring someone special to share his experience in relations, and they did. The guy who talked about this was an american,i think it was friend with the staff, he also played some songs, that were very cool, too bad the songs were made by him cause i can’t find them on the net, maybe i’ll talk with someone from the staff to ask him if he has a cd or something to give away.
The thing with this meetings is that you really learn something not just spend 2-3 hours doing nothing that really helps you in one way or another. My feeling is that when i was there i was trying to focus of what we were talking about and forget my problmes, and for those 2-3 hours it really worked. I’m so pleased of this meetings !

Pitifully, i couldn’t finish Hrabal’s book but today i will, during the book i realised i want a cat for my own and now i’m gathering infos about how you take care of a cat. The first impression is that is not very hard, i’ll see at the that moment how right or wrong i was

Bookcross…the aftermath

May 13, 2007

Just Today

May 12, 2007

Just Saturday.

So in this another saturday i had i did lots of things that in most saturdays i don’t.
The morning broke up nicely with some episodes of prison break ( now that i’ve said it ) just to raise a little the wonderful substance known by the name of C9H13NO3 or simple…adrenaline from my veins. very good tv-series , i have to admit.
So, the just-woke-up-me started and with his eyes still mended with sweet good sleep saw some money on his desk , spare money that is, and in his early morning mind thought he’s going to make himself a t-shirt because he got bored with the one he already posses. And by the time he fetched the money, in his mind the word totem formed miracously, being surrounded by mist and shadows ( just for the effect ) and all that kind of spooky things. But it was like 11 am and he thought he could stay a little bit more in the company of prison break . When it was nearly 1 pm, that is in the most “hot” hour of the day, he walked outside and strucked down by a heat wave that announced an early summer. He made himself a black t-shirt with a green thing on it, which by the mean, is kind of funny, though he isn’t going to marry soon but still, the t-shirt is sure a rocking thing. He also bought Marian Coman’s Nopti albe Zile negre because he thought it sounds interesting and he might take a peek plus it was wrote by one of us and he was very curios about our kind of writing. Also, today he ate a lot but no worry because he has fast burns , i mean he can eat daily for two months at kfc and by the end of those two months,he won’t get fat just as a regular person would.

Nevertheless, when he was in diverta he saw an interesting thing. he rememberd nemira published a hardcover edition of dan brown’s da vinci code but he also remembered this method is used just overseas, the one of publishing the hardcover first, and after some months , the paperback went out. Just like now, nemira published da vinci’s code like one-two years ago and now they got out the paperback of the same book, he wander’s who’ll be dumb enough to buy it.

now he’s thinking what book will bring for the tomorrow’s bookcross meeting. he’ll figure out something.he says good night.

so do i :)

I said if i’ll pass this term tests i’ll be without a worry. I am. Well, practically i still have to take the one at Informatics but that’s a piece of cake. I was most worried about the Maths one,and it went pretty good. In my perspective, good at Maths means i hope i’ll get a C. Figure it out.

On the bookblog it was announced the second BookCross meeting and because i regret i found out about the first one too late, i promised at the second i’ll be there. And i will. Sunday at Carturesti. I really can’t wait, you know, this book lovers meeting make me a little nervous because at every new one you’re surounded by new people and all things work hardest at the beginning, then you find a way to make it through. This’ll be a larger meeting than the club’s one, what the heck? i’m talking about bookblog here ! of course there’ll be plenty of people. Now i have to think what book to give away…i’ll have enough time untill sunday. I’m heavily keeping myself because i heard carturesti’s teas are a little piece of heaven so i’m mostly unpatient to try them. Should i be ashamed because i haven’t tried them yet ? yes,i should bu this ‘ll be fixed pretty soon

Postul de dimineata

April 15, 2007

Ieri se anunta intalnire Bookaholiceasca in Herastrau.

oricum, all in all a fost super tare ieri…si azi.

A Saturday Night Out

March 31, 2007

When somebody sais a day it’s his or her day i might get a little confused about it. I mean what’s the deal with this day of yours ? I really didn’t get it till now…
So, some time ago ionuca said friday it’s truly her day ( happy happy joy joy things happened then for her and therefore….) I had an idea to proclame saturday as my day but not every saturday was “happy happy joy joy”-full and i was a little sceptical.
But today i can say that surely saturday it’s my day. It’s the first day of the weekend when you can stink of laziness how much you want, you can go to bed late cos next day is still weekend so you don’t have to care about this thingies you would normally care if it were sunday, let’s say.
So today i saw 300 at home, being surrounded by a couple of beers, some peanuts, chips….imagining i was at the theatre. Then a mate called me and asked me what do i do this night , i said nothing cos i really hadn’t have anything planned , and then he said we could go to Preoteasa cos there’s a club he wants me to join.
We arrived there at 6 and some Pm , of course being late but nothing bad happend. Let me tell you what’s all this club about.
There are this young men staying in a theatre room and talking about day to day problems, reflecting above other problems and generally helping each other. It’s not like AA, it’s much…stilized and real serious. Today’s topic was friendship, what makes an ordinary guy a friend, what qualities friends should have, what are your qualities as a friend, fake friends, real friends…stuff like these. Pretty interesting. After the meeting was over we lingered on talking to each other, making new friends, hy my name is…., hy…my name is… , stuff like that, starting to know each other ( me, cos i was new there).
I left with a good impression thinking at the next meeting which will be somewhere in May i think. Anyways, we really need a place where people talk with people about people-ish problems and issues.
Then i took the trolley home and it was super empty, and me and my friend kept laughing at random persons in the bus, for our enjoyment of course. They had nothing to say, just muttering and that’s all.
All in all, saturday’s my day so be original and don’t copy it.
